12 midnight: &ME (Keinemusik, Berlin)
Style: Electronic music

Standing on a solid foundation, &ME has become one of most praised and sought after DJ/producers today, delivering beats for Terranova (his joint venture with Fetisch), and releasing EPs and an album on Kompakt. His collaborations with Nic Fanciulli, his releases on Saved Records and NR&, his project with fellow producer Rampa and singer Nomi (Hercules & Love Affair, Jessica 6) are just a few milestones in his career.

In addition, he has also produced solo works, which earned him a name in an unprecedented way. “F.I.R.”, his first release on Keinemusik—a collective of Berlin-based DJs and producers, including Rampa, Adam Port, David Mayer, Reznik & artist Monja Gentschow, which he helped to found in 2009—was a massive club hit and a foretaste of things to come. His works have been produced by various labels, which has spread his reputation as a gifted producer and DJ into international realms, and right now he stands as one of the most original DJs, he is unique.

11:00 pm: Switchdance (Lux Fragil/Beachcoma/Karakter, Lisbon)
Style: Electronic music

Born in Lisbon in the 1980s, Marco Antão is the man behind Switchdance, a nickname taken from a skateboarding maneuver. He is a resident at Lisbon’s Lux Frágil and is widely regarded as one of the finest and most adventurous DJs and producers from Portugal, renowned for his highly eclectic, profoundly hypnotic sets. Known for his diverse musical palette and boundless creativity, Switchdance ultimately seeks to challenge audiences, while enticing them with a combination of music that draws equally from a comfortably familiar past and a distant alien future. He has played at every significant club and festival in Portugal as well as all over Europe.

Taking his love of psychedelic arpeggios, gothic melodies and percussion, he distills and restructures these elements into a unique sound, elegantly displayed in his productions showcased on labels like Beachcoma, Karakter, Areal Records and, more recently, Innervisions. His track “O Amolador” featured on the Secret Weapons 9 compilation, and it merges mysterious eastern melodies and kraut-rock-inspired synths with samples that speak directly to the nostalgia of his youth in Lisbon.
