Self-led visits

A free program for teachers who want to plan their visit to the Museum on their own, guiding students themselves in an easy, dynamic way, based on their interests and needs. Transform the Museum into a school and learn from the works of art on display and from the building designed by Frank Gehry!

You can rely on our Education Team for support, and resort to multiple novel resources and learning materials online for temporary exhibitions, the Permanent Collection and the building’s architecture. Also, we offer online and on-site learning programs.

  • Times: Tuesday to Sunday 10:30 am, 12:00 noon, 3:00 pm
  • School levels: Kindergarten/Elementary/High School
  • Number of students per group: 25 max.

Admission: Free. Pre-booking Booking is complete when you fill out the educational forms.

Audio-guided visits

Explore the Museum with your students using our audio guides. You will be able to visit our temporary exhibitions learning about their most iconic works. The audio guide also includes information about the works on display from the Permanent Collection and the most relevant features of the building.

Visits/tours

Group visits guided by members of the Museum’s educational staff.

In these participatory tours, you can visit one or more of the Museum’s temporary exhibitions, or the Permanent Collection, guided by the thread of a specific theme.

  • Tour duration: 90 min
  • Times: Tuesday to Friday 10:15 am, 12:15 noon
  • School levels: Kindergarten/Elementary/High School
  • Languages available: Basque, Spanish, English, French (check availability)
  • Admission: Kindergarten/Elementary school, €25; high school, €40. Price includes creative experiences.
Virtual tours

If you cannot come to the Museum, you can take a virtual tour in real time from the classroom.

Connect to Skype for a live tour of the temporary exhibitions, the Permanent Collection and the Museum building without leaving your hometown. You can be anywhere in the world and visit the Museum in real time!
