Orientation session: Hilma af Klint

A session with the Museum’s Education Team to help you plan your visit to the exhibition with your students. Tour of the exhibition included. This exhibition is a must to get to know the fascinating work of Hilma af Klint, a pioneer of abstraction who did not get the recognition she deserved in her own time. Hilma’s works were different from everything else: they were colorful, bold, not laden with recognizable references to the real world. It took a number of years for others to follow in her footsteps, setting art free from the shackles of representation.
