Grandes escultores del siglo XX
EL MUSEO GUGGENHEIM BILBAO PRESENTA GRANDES ESCULTORES DEL SIGLO XX
El Museo Guggenheim Bilbao inaugura hoy la presentación de la Colección Permanente Grandes escultores del siglo xx patrocinada por BBK.
Carl Andre, Richard Long, Richard Serra y Mario Merz tienen en común el empleo de materiales no tradicionales como el latón, acero, ramas, vidrio o caucho con el objeto de acentuar las propiedades físicas de sus obras.
La cuatro artistas presentan obras a gran escala que llenan y dialogan, a su vez .con el entorno espectacular de la sala Fish del Museo. Carl Andre emplea materiales comerciales en sus dos esculturas, Richard Serra juega con la sensación de vértigo, de espacio y acero en movimiento en su colosal Serpiente, Richard Long evoca la naturaleza en Circulo de Bilbao, realizada con lajas de pizarra, y Mario Merz presenta en Ciudad irreal, mil novecientos ochenta y nueve una obra delicadamente bella y amenazadora al mismo tiempo.
Grandes escultores del siglo xx es la segunda exposición de la Colección Permanente que se presenta en el Museo Guggenheim Bilbao en el año 2003 y ha contado, como el resto de presentaciones de la Colección Permanente, con el generoso patrocinio de BBK

Make sure you include the following information: type of video; date, time, and length; what to film (the building, the exhibitions, etc.); interview requests; special information requests.
If your request is approved, you must send a list of all team members before the day of the shooting.
The use of Museum images in videos and other audio-visual productions may be subject to a fee. Our Images Committee reviews every request individually. Since this may take three working days to two full weeks, we suggest you plan your video shooting ahead of time.

All images must be properly attributed, without being altered, cropped, or overwritten. Reproductions other than the aforementioned require approval in writing from the Museum.

Just show your press card at the admission desk for free admission. Please bear in mind that journalists are granted free admission to the Museum in exchange for promotion of the Museum’s exhibitions, activities, and events.
