Nueva edición de estancias en Nueva York para artistas del País Vasco
Los Museos Guggenheim de Bilbao y Nueva York ponen en marcha hoy viernes, 20 de abril, la cuarta edición del programa de estancias para dos artistas del País Vasco en Nueva York que se disfrutarán en octubre de este año. El plazo de inscripción, que queda abierto hoy mismo, finaliza el próximo 23 de mayo.
Este programa permitirá a dos artistas emergentes del País Vasco instalarse en Nueva York por espacio de cuatro semanas con el objetivo de favorecer su conocimiento de la escena artística neoyorquina y así poder avanzar en sus metas y aptitudes. Durante este tiempo, las personas seleccionadas conocerán la experiencia de artistas, comisarios e instituciones relacionadas con el arte de la mano de los profesionales del Museo Guggenheim de Nueva York. Los jóvenes seleccionados recibirán una asignación de 2.500 dólares para su estancia.
Tanto este programa de estancias para artistas emergentes como el programa de becas para estudiantes que cada año pone en marcha el Museo se enmarcan en la renovación del Acuerdo de Gestión del Museo Guggenheim Bilbao firmado en diciembre de 2014 con la Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation, que profundiza en la colaboración entre ambas instituciones a través de nuevos proyectos.

Make sure you include the following information: type of video; date, time, and length; what to film (the building, the exhibitions, etc.); interview requests; special information requests.
If your request is approved, you must send a list of all team members before the day of the shooting.
The use of Museum images in videos and other audio-visual productions may be subject to a fee. Our Images Committee reviews every request individually. Since this may take three working days to two full weeks, we suggest you plan your video shooting ahead of time.

All images must be properly attributed, without being altered, cropped, or overwritten. Reproductions other than the aforementioned require approval in writing from the Museum.

Just show your press card at the admission desk for free admission. Please bear in mind that journalists are granted free admission to the Museum in exchange for promotion of the Museum’s exhibitions, activities, and events.
