In this workshop, we will look to artists like Lucio Fontana, Antoni Tàpies, and Eduardo Chillida for inspiration. They all slashed, punctured, or scraped off their works in their experimentation with space, to see what was beyond the work itself.

In our own works, we will make holes or cut out windows to see how light floods the space. We will also add materials, one on top of another, to grasp how shapes and colors change with them. Through enquiry and discovery, we will learn that holes, scratches, and void can also be part of a work of art.
