Photograph light drawings, which you then use to create an animation video using the pika-pika technique. This wonderful Japanese expression refers to flashes of light, used to describe the method of generating moving images by drawing with torches in the dark.
Taking inspiration from artists Jenny Holzer and Barbara Kruger, we will tell our own stories through moving images, transforming the elements that appear between frames. Even if you have never drawn before, you can create animations using this method that anyone can use. There’s no right or wrong way with this technique.
