Film Screenings: Let’s Go to the Movies [18+]

Brush up your English while watching recently-released short films and scenes from films, and discussing them in sessions led by teachers from the British Council Bilbao.

In February, we will watch and discuss the animated short film Roll Down the Window (UK, 2024), as part of the program “Reclaim, Reframe, Rejoice”. In this short film, filmmaker Lipa Hussain interrogates a neurological condition she has experienced since childhood: Alice in Wonderland Syndrome (AIWS), which causes distorted perceptions of body size/shape and the surrounding world. The film explores the idea of utilizing AIWS to face difficult situations.
