Performance: Gathered in me they once again become life by Hector Zamora

Admission

Activity included with a day pass to the Museum

As part of the events organized to inaugurate the Arts of the Earth exhibition, which will open to the public on December 5, artist Héctor Zamora will be staging a performance in the Atrium of the Museum in collaboration with the Basque dancer and performer Ion Munduate. The piece, titled Gathered in me they once again become life (2025), is being presented for the first time in Europe and takes as its central focus a key element in Zamora's practice: the terracotta vessel as an essential metaphor for the earthly body.  In this iteration, the fresh clay vessel is scaled up to monumental proportions and inspires a choreography around the origin of life, fostering a silent dialogue between performer and material.
