Ai Futaki, underwater explorer and expert, double Guinness World Record-holder for the longest distance swam in one breath, is coming to the Museum to share her views on the world’s oceans and seas, shedding light on their critical situation under humans’ threat. Using intriguing images from her dives, Futaki will share her inspiring story while drawing attention to the need to understand the flow and energy of marine ecosystems in order to make responsible and sustainable use of them.
