Conceptual artist Sol LeWitt (1928-2007) made his wall paintings following a series of instructions woven into the nature of the works themselves, materialized in diagrams containing accurate specifications for colors, strokes and surfaces, certified with a specific Wall Drawing series number.

Based on these certified diagrams, anyone can replicate LeWitt’s Wall Drawings anywhere. Originally designed for gallery 208, Wall Drawing #831 (Geometric Forms) is now being shown in gallery 302, following the instructions in the corresponding diagram and matching the characteristics of its new exhibition space.
