EL MUSEO GUGGENHEIM BILBAO INAUGURA PINTURA Y ESCULTURA MODERNA
La exposición Pintura y Escultura Moderna se inaugura este sábado 29 de mayo en el Museo Guggenheim Bilbao. La instalación se compone de una selección de más de 60 obras procedentes de la colección permanente de los museos Guggenheim.
Pintura y escultura moderna ofrece un panorama general del arte más representativo de las vanguardias europeas de la primera mitad del siglo XX y del movimiento expresionista abstracto americano surgido tras la Segunda Guerra Mundial. La instalación refleja la evolución del arte desde la figuración hacia la total abstracción a través de obras realizadas por Josef Albers, Jean Arp, Marc Chagall, Robert Delaunay, Vasily Kandinsky, Paul Klee, Oskar Kokoschka, Willem de Kooning, László Moholy-Nagy, Piet Mondrian, Robert Motherwell, Fernand Léger, Pablo Picasso y Mark Rothko entre otros.
La selección de obras de los más de 30 artistas de esta muestra permitirá al público disfrutar de un amplio panorama del arte de nuestro siglo. Esta exposición sucede a De Durero a Rauschenberg: la quintaesencia del dibujo. Obras maestras de las colecciones Albertina y Guggenheim que concluyó el pasado 16 de mayo. La instalación Pintura y Escultura Moderna se podrá visitar en las salas clásicas de la tercera planta desde el 29 de mayo hasta enero del año 2000 en el Museo Guggenheim Bilbao.

If your request is approved, you must send a list of all team members before the day of the shooting.
The use of Museum images in videos and other audio-visual productions may be subject to a fee. Our Images Committee reviews every request individually. Since this may take three working days to two full weeks, we suggest you plan your video shooting ahead of time.

All images must be properly attributed, without being altered, cropped, or overwritten. Reproductions other than the aforementioned require approval in writing from the Museum.
