At the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, we have a lot to celebrate. The year 2022 marks the 25^th anniversary of the opening of the Museum, which revolutionized the cultural, social, artistic, and economic life of the area where it stands. In no time, we earned international acclaim and, more importantly, we have managed to keep it to this day. We are so grateful for this!

Many things have changed since then, and we are ready to face the challenges the future holds with hope and joy. The uncertainty and the restrictions brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic have spurred us to think and take advantage of the opportunities associated with flexibility, proactivity, and the use of technology for inspiration and the promotion of art, and for being a dynamizing element in our environment.

Along these lines, the slogan we have chosen for our 25^th anniversary is one we really believe in: “Art inspires the future.” Will you be joining us in the celebrations?
