ART Space: Art Adventures: A Fierce Portrait

ART Space delivers experiences in discovery and creation for the whole family, where the activities are conducted by an artist. In May, we will make an expressionist portrait of an animal, depicting not only its physical features but its inner strength as well, drawing inspiration from Oskar Kokoschka’s paintings in which the artist painted different animals, such as a tigon (an animal that is half tiger, half lion), crabs or turtles. Just like the Austrian artist, we will use quick strokes and color mixes in our search for the most accurate tools to capture the dynamic force of animals in action.
