Baby Art: We Are Water

Surrounded by stimuli and playing games, babies and their families interact as they explore the Museum’s Collection.

This month, we will get acquainted with the work of artists who are inspired by water–an essential aesthetic and technical element since the earliest artistic productions. Several artists in the Museum Collection, such as Miquel Barceló, Fujiko Nakaya, and El Anatsui, show or use water in a variety of ways.

Water can be a way to explore the world. In this workshop, we will play with water and paint, mixing colors, transferring liquids, and marveling at the effects of dripping, splashing, and so on. The workshop’s spaces have been chosen to awaken and stimulate our senses–sight, touch, hearing, smell, and taste.
