Creative Lab. Transformation

We will dive into the wonderful and intensely creative world of artist Tarsila do Amaral. On our tour of her exhibition, we will explore interpretations and suggestions that her works of art elicit. Allow yourself to be overcome with wonder, look closely and carefully at her art, and come up with your own associations. We will use our own bodies to recreate the postures and expressions of the figures present in her paintings, connecting with her art on a physical level.

In this workshop, we will transform reality by simplifying shapes and introducing geometry; we will change proportions and have fun with distortion. In doing so, we will give shape to fascinating creatures, playing with metamorphosis, and letting our imagination soar.
