Four short films — El pequeño Cousteau, Hola, verano, La cometa and ¡Por la borda! — make up this extraordinary showcase of Czech animation for family audiences. Through different styles, these works share a sensitive approach to nature, imagination, and human emotions.
El pequeño Cousteau celebrates curiosity and wonder at the sea; Hola, verano tenderly portrays the passing of the seasons; La cometa delicately explores the bond between a child and his grandfather; and ¡Por la borda! blends humor and adventure to tell a story of friendship and cooperation.
Unified by a handcrafted, poetic aesthetic, these shorts reveal the power of animation to bring simple yet profound stories to life, reaffirming animation as a hand-made art capable of turning everyday life into fantasy.
A perfect experience to enjoy as a family, learn together, and strengthen bonds, in collaboration with ZINEBI — Bilbao International Documentary and Short Film Festival.
