Film Screenings: Let’s Go to the Movies [18+]

Brush up on your English skills while enjoying short films and excerpts from recent films tackling social issues, at sessions led by teachers from the British Council in Bilbao.

This session will focus on the short film My body, Your Choice? (2022, 11 min), directed by Areeba Naveed and Fatima Syed. The screening of the film, which explores different ways of understanding the female body in Pakistan, is part of the Resistance program by the British Council & Scottish Documentary Institute, dedicated to recognizing the resilience of vulnerable people and cultures in situations of oppression. Priyanka Bhanji, a teacher at the British Council, will facilitate the activity.
