Brush up your English in an informal setting, watching and discussing original-language short films and film scenes. This month, we will watch Blackthorn, directed by Dom Bush in 2021. This short film follows singer, poet and drystone waller Sam Robinson in Cumbria, highlighting his sense of place, his love of the land, and the strong ties between his inner world and nature. The film will be introduced by Richard Winterbottom, Senior Teacher at the British Council Bilbao.
