Intergenerational Evening Talks & Art: Fancy a Chat?

Admission

Free

Location

Venue and time: Back terrace of the Guggenheim Bistro and Museum galleries, 6:30 pm

If you are a fan of our breakfast plans, do not miss the afternoon version of them. This summer activity aimed at including younger generations invites us all to spend the afternoon together. Organized with the help of Museum volunteers, our Evening Talks promote dialogue across generations and discussion of current issues in connection with art.

First, we will meet in the Museum’s Bistro outdoor area for a talk and a snack. Then, we will visit some of the galleries with one of our Museum guides. Unfolding in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, the meetings will be connected to the exhibitions on view or the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao Collection. Shall we count you in?

Suggested topics:

  • July 8: Breaking the ice with AI in art. A look at in situ: Refik Anadol (galleries 208 and 204) and the associated educational area.
  • August 5: Holidays, at last! What are your favorite holiday destinations: bright seaside resorts in the Mediterranean or vibrant cities in America? A look at selected works by Helen Frankenthaler (gallery 105) and Barbara Kruger (level-2 galleries).

Estimated duration: 90 min.
