Enjoy the performance of Turandot at Teatro Real, to be broadcast live at the Auditorium of the Museum. Chosen to bring the opera season to a close, Turandot— an opera in three acts by Giacomo Puccini (b.1858-;d. 1924), completed by Franco Alfano after Puccini’s death—is one of the most popular operas of all time.
Turandot: Music by Giacomo Puccini. Libretto by Giuseppe Adami and Renato Simoni, based on the fable by Carlo Gozzi. Premiered at Teatro alla Scala in Milan in 1926.
