Every May 17, World Recycling Day is held internationally with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of waste management as a means to take care of the environment —and of people as well.
This creative workshop features four micro-workshops in video introducing enjoyable activities, along with instructions and tips to carry them out, and revolve around the things we can do to contribute to sustainable development, like recycling.
In this workshop, you will:
- Think about change and the future: What can you change in your life, right here, right now?
- Become aware of the importance of circularity and responsible consumption.
- Appreciate the choice of a sustainable life, of living in harmony with nature, of exploring what you can do to make your contribution to the protection of the environment.
Workshop designed and conducted by Nerea Lekuona, visual and graphic artist →
Length and technical requirements: The workshop’s contents will be available from May through August. You can move at your own pace, at home or wherever you want, and you can do the activities as many times as you want. You will just need a computer or mobile device with Internet access, and the materials recommended by the artist for each of the activities.
Participants: kids between the ages of 6 to 11, as well as their families
