FFRANK GEHRY’S CREATIVE PROCESS AND THE GUGGENHEIM MUSEUM BILBAO.

OBJECTIVES AND OVERVIEW
This activity is aimed at:
- Understanding the figure of Frank Gehry, his sources of inspiration, architectural style (Deconstructivism), design philosophy, creative process, and teamwork.
- Understanding the concept and creation of the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, an icon of twentieth-century architecture.
- Analyzing the technology and materials used in the Museum’s construction and maintenance, and discussing the Museum’s commitment to environmental sustainability, which will inform the activities carried out in 2023.
- Offering educational tools and examples of activities to do with students in the classroom.
- Encouraging collaborative work and problem solving among students.
- Contributing to the preparation of content in the area of Art Fundamentals, as the subject is included in the entrance exam syllabus.
