In this talk, organized on the occasion of the opening of Picasso Sculptor. Matter and Body, Carmen Giménez, curator of the exhibition, and Lucía Agirre, curator at the Museum, will discuss sculpture in Pablo Picasso, as a form of art on a par with painting, drawing, engraving or ceramics, where the artist focused on the body as subject. The talk promises to be an exciting event about Picasso’s sculptures and the Museum’s architecture.
An activity held in the context of the exhibition organized by the Picasso Museum Málaga and the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao as part of Picasso Celebration 1973–2023, an international program organized with the support of Musée national Picasso-Paris and the Spanish National Commission for the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the death of Pablo Picasso, with Teléfonica as partner in Spain.
