The renowned pianist and composer from Japan Koki Nakano will perform a selection of his works, including songs from his new album Oceanic Feeling, whose title refers to a phrase coined by the French writer Romain Rolland in a 1927 letter to Sigmund Freud, meaning “a sensation of eternity, a feeling of being one with the external world as a whole, a quest for balance between man and nature.” The contemporary flair, strength, and beauty of Nakano’s music will be enhanced by the plastic, energetic, and harmonious dance moves of Tess Voelker to deliver a message about the importance and the happiness of taking care of ourselves and the world around us.
