Play Experiences: Random Play
Saturday, February 21
This unstructured play activity will focus on the artists featured in the Museum’s exhibition Arts of the Earth. Participants will use natural materials to build shapes, put together compositions, or make art interventions. In the process, they will discover that nature can be the language of creativity.
Encouraging experimentation and enhancing awareness of organic materials, the activity will lead to the individual or group creation of figures, sculptures, or even maps.

Sensory Games: Feel, Play, Create
Saturday, February 14
Using our senses, we will cross the bridge that links the past and the present, discovering magical worlds and new ways of looking at the things around us. Taking a look at Mark Leckey’s installation, we will try to identify the feelings that the city that “stood in its brightness” kindles in us. We will be surrounded by sound, in a tale where each of us is the main character. Action, imagination, and fun will come together to offer a highly personal view of the city.
Our sensory games are designed to get every family member involved, working together in a meaningful, rewarding experience.
