Have you ever been interested in design? In Summer for Teens, you will explore the connections between art and design with the help of artists and designers, as you visit the Museum’s exhibitions.

What would you like to design? A new product? A bag? A shop window? Yayoi Kusama has designed all these things and more. This Japanese artist uses polka dots as a motif in her works of art, but also in bags, shop windows, and buildings.

In this workshop for teenagers, you will draw inspiration from the works of Kusama and other artists at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao. We will give you ideas and instructions, and then it will all be up to you. The result will be your choice! We will just be there to help you. You will have to use creativity as your main tool to materialize your ideas in a variety of mediums.

We will also explore the possibilities of sustainable design. Design is fun, and it is even more fun when it protects the environment!
