This will be the first of four themed tours of the work of Oskar Kokoschka guided by musicologist Patricia Sojo. She will introduce the works in the exhibition in connection with relevant musical pieces. In this visual and sound tour, visitors will be taken to Kokoschka’s Vienna, learning about the artist’s relationships with Austrian composer Arnold Schonberg, Spanish musician Pau Casals, and Austrian composer and author Alma Mahler, all of whom were painted by him.
